At Carolina Pet Portraits, we use only the very finest media to produce our finished works of art. Our dry pastels, paints, and pencils are created by companies like Unison, Faber-Castell, Windsor & Newton, and Caran d'Ache, all respected companies that have been in business for generations. Our media products and surfaces are test proven to be light-fast (which means that, with proper care, they'll remain vibrant for generations).
SPECIAL NOTICE: We offer a one-time price reduction of
10% OFF a single MEMORIAL PORTRAIT.
If your Portrait is of a person or an animal who has died, please let us know. We will be happy to adjust the price of your Portrait.
Rest assured you will receive the same quality product.
Full-Color Portrait Prices
All PASTEL portraits must be delivered in a sealed frame or protective sleeve. There is an extra postage fee for all framed art, when shipped. Pastels must be framed as soon as possible. We will hand-deliver finished framed portraits in the Carolinas, Eastern Georgia, and Eastern Tennessee. An extra $90 fee may apply, depending upon your destination. Please note: this fee is less costly than the actual insured shipping cost for large, framed, works of art.
Remember: There is an extra charge to have large portraits framed.
We charge only actual fees for our shipped portraits, which are delivered by insured US Mail, UPS, or Fed-Ex. NOTE: All shipping services charge extra for packages containing glass frames. Our hand-delivery option is actually less expensive than the cost of shipping larger portraits if you live in the Southeast United States.
Your Portrait will normally be completed within 2 to 3 weeks of the time your deposit is received, larger pieces may take a little longer.
We require a non-refundable deposit of 25% on all portraits at the time your order is placed. While we are never satisfied with the finished product until you are (and we've had no complaints so far), we do employ, as noted, very expensive media in our work.
"My wife said your portrait of our late dog, Cheney, was the nicest gift she has ever received. Thanks again!"
